Holleman organized last month the transport on barge, from Drobeta-Turnu-Severin to Oltenita and from this point to Bucharest on road of three rotors of 190 t each. Of smaller extent then the oversized transportation of components has accustomed us with, but of a weight rarely encountered on our roads the assembly reached 300 t for each piece – those three rotors required strict calculations and meticulous work both for the unload from the barge and for the temporary storage in the harbor on ‘elephant feet’, and for the anchoring and the configuration of the trailer that would transport them to Bucharest.
